OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Borisoff Design Studio, we curate interesting environments that are creative and full of personality while also being approachable and comfortable. Our vision is always collaborative and inspired by our clients’ brand or personal identity. Through intent listening and consideration of our client’s goals, budgets, and timelines, we deliver memorable spaces that also make the design process enjoyable. We value client input as well as push boundaries whenever possible to present something new.
With that said, we also are well-versed in many aesthetics and don’t believe we are constrained to a particular look. Instead, we are inspired by our client’s input and interests, a brand narrative, a location, or even an object. We believe that a space needs to tell its own story, and we do that through thoughtful selections, custom designs, and layering through styling. No matter what the design, we want it to feel personal or reflective, and no matter what, it should feel good.
LAUREN BORISOFF
Founder
Lauren Borisoff has invested over 15 years in the design and creative services industry. Upon graduating Cornell University, Lauren started her career in NYC as a furniture and lighting designer at Polo Ralph Lauren where she fell in love with antiques and the classics. After 6 years, in Polo’s creative services, she worked as the Decorative and Branding Manager for Hilton Hotel’s luxury brand followed by directing all of SBE Entertainment’s interior design projects nationwide. Eventually, Lauren ventured to launch her own firm, Borisoff Design Studio.
Lauren believes design needs to be approached from an aesthetic, experiential, and functional perspective in order to be successful while always taking into account the brand vision or the individual client’s desires. Her aim is to tastefully push boundaries while creating custom environments that make her clients and guests feel special and inspired.

At Borisoff Design Studio, Viviana offers her technical expertise in different aspects of the projects: from the development of spatial studies to the small details in furniture design.
